Wedding Video Leitrim, Brian and Shonagh.
Lough Rynn Castle and Leitrim Village.
When I have an upcoming wedding video in Lough Rynn I have to say it’s always one I’m looking forward to. With an array of beautiful walled Gardens, friendly helpful staff, great food and a mix of old-world elegance and contemporary luxury, you name it, Lough Rynn has it all and this is why it’s one of the leading lakeside castle venues in the country.
I arrived to Lough Rynn early Saturday morning when the makeup and bridal preparations were well under way. Everything fell into place as it always does and I even got a chance to call around and shoot Brian and the guys who were staying around the corner from the girls. Some beautiful makeup shots were captured and it was an added bonus to capture the opening of the card and very thoughtful gift from Brian. I love the emotion this brings and it’s always great when I’m in the right place to capture this, although I’m sure the makeup artists might beg to differ as tears aren’t as much fun for them. It was quite apparent from early on that this was going to be a very special day.
After the bridal preparations it was then off to Leitrim village for the ceremony, this was a nice change for me as it was a first to shoot in this beautiful church. Shonagh has Family roots in Leitrim Village so this was always going to be the perfect location.
Weather always plays a big factor on the day, sometimes spoiling our planned photography/video location plans but when shooting in Lough Rynn Castle there’s always the option of letting the bride and groom mingle with their guests until there’s a break in the weather, a small window of opportunity is all we need to get out and get some shots. This is one of the major advantages of shooting in Lough Rynn with the Photography/video shoot in the same location as the venue. It massively increases the chances of getting a good shoot weather wise. Of course all this wasn’t necessary for Brian and Shonagh’s big day as the rain didn’t come until we were all contently sitting for the meal.
From the secluded Lough Rynn Castle majestically set on the shores of Lough Rynn to the Shannon-Erne Village of Leitrim, this was truly a fantastic day from start to finish with Brian and Shonagh.
Thank you to Brian and Shonagh for giving Wedding Moments the opportunity to capture your big day. It truly was a pleasure. Hope ye enjoy the teaser while still on honeymoon.
